A Purple Finche dropped by today.

I had a visit from this little guy this morning.
Its a male Purple Finch.  See his little topknot.
 
The finch is on the left and on the right is a white-breasted Nuthatch.
I love checking the birds every morning to see if anyone new shows up.  They are always so cute and busy.

    I keep my bird book handy by the doorway so I can check on any new visitors.

      That is a smart idea!! I keep saying that i want books like that & ones that tell what plants grow in our state but never get around to actually getting them, lol. Someday i will get off my fanny & just do it. Great prices on books all over the internet. Hope all is well!! :-)
