These are the shade cages over my red and green leaf lettuces.
More shade cover over my iceberg lettuces.
These are covered with clear plastic to warm the soil and keep the melons warm and safe from chill.Some cages I bent so they covered 2 sqares and some to cover one square only. They are interchangeable, just a bit shorter on the 2-block wide cages but they work just fine.
