I bought chicken wire 36" wide by 10 ft long. Measured approx 12" and cut the width with wire cutters. It was very easy.

Crimped back the sharp points on the outside edges of both sides.

Measured approx 12" up from each end, bent wire across, then wove bamboo stake (approx 14-15" to allow for burying into soil) thru all 4 outer eges.

When done, I had a cage 1 foot high and 1 foot deep, shaped like an arbor.
